In reply to <a href="https://greenanoles.com/do-green-anoles-hibernate/#comment-6">Grace Valverde</a>.

An anole came into my door when I opened it to go out on Saturday. He ran behind an entertainment center. I want it to live! How and what should I do? I live in Landrum S,C.29356. Can he just live in my apartment safely if I can’t find him ? I have an aloe plant nearby so I put a small jar lid of water in the pot so he has a water source. The article relieved about knowing it can live without food. What else can I do so he has whatever he needs during his welcome visit?

I live in south Texas and an anole that lives in my garage parked itself on a box and has been there since the temperature abruptly went from 87 to 30-40 degrees from one day to the next! He’s brown and doesn’t look dead but has not moved at all. What can I do for this little guy?
